These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of this website (the "Site") and any related content, programs, workshops, certificates, and services offered through the Site (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Site or Services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or Services.

1. Who We Are

Washington Global Education LLC ("WGE," "we," "us," "our") is a professional training organization headquartered in the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to purchase Services. Parents or legal guardians may purchase on behalf of eligible minor participants. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Services Overview

We provide professional training, workshops, and certificate programs, which may be delivered:

  • Online, in-person, or in a hybrid format

  • On a public enrollment basis or enterprise/custom basis

  • With schedules, curricula, instructors, and materials that may change over time

No Educational or Professional Licensure Guarantee Our Services are designed for professional development and academic enrichment. We do not guarantee that completion will result in employment, promotion, licensure, certification by third parties, or any specific outcome.

4. Registrations, Accounts, and Communications

If you register, purchase, or request information, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activity under your account.

5. Payments, Pricing, and Taxes

  • Prices are listed in USD unless stated otherwise.

  • You authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge your selected payment method for purchases and any applicable taxes and fees.

  • If you are purchasing on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization.

Enterprise / Custom Programs Enterprise engagements may be governed by a separate Master Services Agreement, Statement of Work, or Training Agreement. If there is a conflict, the signed enterprise agreement controls for that engagement.

6. Cancellation or Rescheduling by WGE

We may reschedule, change the instructor, or modify the delivery format (for example, from in-person to virtual) due to enrollment levels, instructor availability, venue issues, or events outside our control. If we cancel a program, your remedy is limited to a refund of fees paid for that program, excluding any travel or third-party costs you may have incurred.

7. Program Rules and Code of Conduct

To protect learning quality and the experience of all participants, you agree to:

  • Be respectful, professional, and non-disruptive throughout all sessions

  • Follow all instructor and platform rules

  • Not harass, threaten, or discriminate against others

  • Not record sessions unless explicitly authorized in writing by WGE

  • Not share or publish proprietary materials without prior written permission

WGE reserves the right to remove participants from any program, without refund, for serious or repeated violations of this Code of Conduct.

8. Intellectual Property and Training Materials

All Site content and training materials — including videos, slides, handouts, frameworks, templates, logos, trademarks, and course structures — are owned by Washington Global Education LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Limited License: Upon enrollment or purchase, you receive a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use program materials for personal or internal business use only, unless your enterprise agreement specifies otherwise. You may not copy, resell, distribute, publish, or create derivative works from our materials without prior written permission from WGE.

9. Participant Content

If you submit materials such as assignments, posts, comments, or feedback, you grant WGE a non-exclusive license to use them solely to provide and improve the Services. You represent that you have the rights to submit such content and that it does not violate the rights of any third party.

10. Testimonials, Reviews, and Marketing Consent

If you provide a testimonial or review, you agree that it may be used by WGE for marketing and promotional purposes, unless you request otherwise in writing. Where required, WGE will disclose any material connections in accordance with applicable guidelines.

11. Third-Party Links and Tools

The Site may link to or integrate third-party websites or tools (such as Zoom, payment processors, or learning platforms). WGE is not responsible for the content, security, or practices of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WGE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WGE does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure at all times.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WASHINGTON GLOBAL EDUCATION LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR SERVICES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE OR SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO WGE FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations; in such cases, limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Washington Global Education LLC and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site or Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

15. Compliance and Fair Dealing

WGE strives to describe all programs accurately and to avoid any misleading statements regarding sponsorship, approval, certification, or organizational affiliations.

16. Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

If you believe that content on this Site infringes your copyright, please send a written notice containing the information required under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3), including identification of the work, the URL where it appears, your contact information, and a statement made under penalty of perjury.

17. Privacy

18. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute not resolved through alternative dispute resolution will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

19. Changes to These Terms

WGE may update these Terms from time to time. The Effective Date at the top of this page reflects when the most recent version took effect. Your continued use of the Site or Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
